About the RoleWe are hiring an Electronics Assembly Technician to support high-reliability production lines. In this role, you will handle precision assembly, SMT/through-hole soldering, wire harness fabrication, and electronic rework following strict quality and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and chassis.
- Perform precision through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) soldering under a microscope.
- Build, crimp, route, and terminate custom cables and wire harnesses.
- Interpret assembly drawings, wiring schematics, engineering blueprints, and standard work instructions (BOM/SOP).
- Inspect finished units to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
- Perform component-level rework, desoldering, and troubleshooting on non-conforming parts.
- Maintain detailed production logs, testing records, and quality documentation.
Basic Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of hands-on electronics assembly or manufacturing technician experience.
- Proven experience with fine-pitch soldering, wire stripping, and crimping tools.
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong manual dexterity, fine-motor control, and comfort working with microscopes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active or prior IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification.
- Experience in regulated industries: Aerospace & Defense, Medical Devices, Semiconductor, or Automotive.
- Prior work with Class 2 and Class 3 electronics assemblies.
