Installation / Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, or repairing heating and air conditioning systems in residential or commercial settings. You have prior experience as an HVAC service technician and in sales, and you hold EPA certification. You are capable of working both as part of a team and independently; you enjoy doing a good job and take pride in completing tasks efficiently for customers. A positive attitude is a must!

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Set up new heat pumps, air conditioners, and duct-work according to blueprints and local building rules.
• Diagnostics & Repair: Find and fix broken parts like motors, fans, wiring, and refrigerant leaks using testing tools.
• Maintenance: Do routine tune-ups, clean coils, and change air filters to stop future system failures.
• Testing: Run system checks to make sure airflow, gas lines, and electrical circuits work safely.
• Customer Service: Explain system issues and repair options clearly to homeowners in a polite, professional manner.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 4 to 6 years of hands-on residential HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• License: Valid driver’s license with an insurable, clean driving record.
• Physical Ability: Capability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined or hot spaces like attics and crawlspaces, and use hand or power tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, reliability, and basic computer or tablet literacy for dispatch software.
