Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will champion clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence or wrongful conduct, guiding them through complex legal processes with confidence and compassion.

Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing compelling cases, negotiating settlements, and advocating vigorously in court to secure fair compensation for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while honing your litigation skills within a collaborative and energetic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury claims.
  • Investigate claims by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, reviewing records, and consulting medical experts.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, discovery, and legal correspondence.
  • Negotiate settlements while preparing cases for trial when needed.
  • Represent clients in court, mediation, arbitration, hearings, pretrial settings, and trial.
  • Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Appear in Dallas and Austin-area courts.
  • Supervise paralegals, legal assistants, and litigation team members.
  • Manage case workflows and client communication.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree and active Texas bar license.
  • Strong LexisNexis and legal research skills.
  • Strong legal writing, drafting, negotiation, advocacy, organization, and client communication skills.
  • Personal injury experience and strong knowledge of litigation procedures.
  • Courtroom, deposition, mediation, motion practice, and settlement experience.
