Location: Marana, AZ 85653
Employment Type: W2 Contract – 12 Months with Possibility for Extensions
Pay Rate: $17.08–$18.08/hour (determined by experience, paid weekly)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Work Model: 100% Onsite

Overtime Requirements: Candidates must be available to work approximately 5–10 hours of overtime per week as business needs require and up to 2 Saturdays per month based on production demands.

Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C and C2H will not be considered.


Role Overview

BEPC is actively seeking a Medical Device Assembler to support our client’s regulated manufacturing operations in Marana, AZ. This position is responsible for assembling instruments, completing manufacturing transactions, supporting quality and validation activities, and ensuring products are built safely and accurately according to established procedures.


The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a high-volume regulated manufacturing environment, and capable of performing repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining strict quality standards. Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, SAP, precision tools, and Lean/Continuous Improvement practices is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble instruments and components according to established manufacturing procedures and specifications.
  • Perform manufacturing transactions and confirmations within complex production systems, including SAP.
  • Operate and work around automated manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment.
  • Use precision tools and manufacturing equipment safely and accurately.
  • Support the execution of manufacturing protocols and validation activities.
  • Complete daily end-of-shift reports and communicate important information during shift handoffs.
  • Follow established safety procedures and immediately identify, report, and escalate potentially unsafe conditions.
  • Provide information and feedback during investigations involving safety incidents, hazards, and near misses.
  • Perform required transactions within quality systems to support manufacturing and quality objectives.
  • Maintain audit readiness and follow applicable OSHA, FDA, QSR, GMP, ISO, and internal quality requirements.
  • Support NCR investigations, rework activities, and corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain required internal training compliance.
  • Perform 6S and Lean/Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Follow standard work instructions and established cycle-time requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and operational improvement activities.
  • Assist with data collection for daily manufacturing metrics.
  • Collaborate with employees across shifts and functions to ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout manufacturing activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–5 years of manufacturing, assembly, production, or related experience.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing production priorities.
  • Ability to maintain prompt, regular, and reliable onsite attendance.
  • Willingness to work required overtime, weekends, holidays, or exceptional schedules when production needs require.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree.
  • Previous experience assembling medical devices, diagnostic instruments, or similar regulated products.
  • Experience with SAP manufacturing transactions.
  • Experience using Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or Continuous Improvement.
  • Experience using precision tools.
  • Familiarity with FDA, GMP, QSR, ISO, or similar regulated manufacturing requirements.
  • Experience supporting validations, NCR investigations, rework, or corrective actions.


Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to perform the physical activities required in a manufacturing environment, with reasonable accommodations where applicable. Responsibilities may include:

  • Standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, or crouching for a combined 4 or more hours per day.
  • Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Performing repetitive movements involving the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Maintaining sufficient near visual acuity for detailed assembly and inspection activities.
  • Working around, over, or under fixed manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Using ladders or lifts when required.
  • Manipulating tools, equipment, materials, and manufacturing controls.
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
