Orthodontist Assistant

The Orthodontist Assistant plays a key supporting role within our dynamic dental team, helping facilitate the delivery of exceptional orthodontic care. This position involves assisting the orthodontist with clinical tasks, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing patient comfort and treatment outcomes in a friendly, professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist orthodontists during procedures.
• Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Operate and maintain orthodontic tools and equipment.
• Support the use of dental software for imaging and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with the dental team to optimize patient experience and treatment flow.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in dental or orthodontic assisting roles preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and medical records management.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
• Proficiency with dental office management software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential preferred.
• Experience working alongside orthodontic specialists in clinical settings.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in fast-paced environments.
