We're looking for a dependable 2nd Shift Machine Operator / General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, following detailed processes, and producing quality products.

About the Role

The 2nd Shift Machine Operator / General Laborer will support daily manufacturing operations by operating and assisting with production equipment, following work orders and specifications, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Experience with wire weaving, crimping, metalworking, or manufacturing equipment is valuable, but we're also interested in candidates who are mechanically inclined, reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

What You'll Do

• Follow written and verbal instructions and production procedures
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate and assist with manufacturing and production equipment
• Support wire weaving and crimping operations
• Work with weaving looms, crimping die sets, heddles, reeds, and winding beams
• Assist with threading patterns and weaving techniques
• Adjust dies and equipment as needed
• Operate or assist with calendaring mill operations
• Operate equipment such as square shears, slitters, press brakes, and roll-forming equipment
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy
• Use measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Follow safety, quality, and production requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate production or quality concerns to the Foreman or Plant Supervisor
• Perform additional manufacturing duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, measurements, and tolerances
• Comfortable using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate manufacturing equipment
• Ability to perform hands-on physical work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Wire weaving
• Crimping operations
• Weaving looms
• Calendaring mills
• Square shears
• Slitters
• Press brakes
• Roll-forming equipment
• Metal fabrication
• Industrial machinery
• Manufacturing production equipment

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 8-hour 2nd shift
• Overtime opportunities available

Work Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a warehouse and production environment. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, working around manufacturing equipment, and performing physical production tasks safely.
