1. Braider Operator

Pay Rate: $20.25–$22.00/hr.
Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:30 PM–7:30 AM

Position Summary

The Braider Operator is responsible for setting up and operating braiding equipment to manufacture braided hose according to established production and quality specifications. The role requires attention to detail, basic troubleshooting skills, accurate measurement, and adherence to safety and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate NEB, OMA, and TMW braiding equipment.
  • Follow manufacturing specifications and established procedures.
  • Load and unload carriers, bobbins, springs, braid rings, and tooling.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor production issues.
  • Measure hose outside diameter (OD), pitch, and other dimensions.
  • Use measuring instruments to verify product quality.
  • Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Move finished braided hose to the inspection area.
  • Report quality concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.


2. Silicone Extrusion Operator

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr. + $2.00/hr. shift differential
2nd Shift Rate: $24.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–11:30 PM
Overtime: Mandatory OT

Position Summary

The Silicone Extrusion Operator is responsible for operating and setting up silicone extrusion equipment and ensuring manufactured products meet established quality specifications. The position performs material preparation, equipment setup, product testing, measurement, and production documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up silicone extrusion equipment.
  • Mill silicone according to established specifications.
  • Prepare hose materials for extrusion.
  • Set up equipment for vertical extrusion processes.
  • Set up horizontal extruded wrap processes.
  • Perform manual wrap processes as required.
  • Cut test samples and submit them to the laboratory for quality control.
  • Measure hose outside diameter (OD).
  • Verify wall thickness requirements.
  • Record production and quality information accurately.
  • Maintain traceability documentation.
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures.


3. Blender

Base Pay: $22.00/hr.
Shift Differential: $2.00/hr.
Effective 3rd Shift Rate: $24.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 PM–7:30 AM
Overtime: Mandatory OT

Position Summary

The Blender is responsible for preparing and blending PTFE materials for the extrusion process while following precise production, quality, and safety specifications. The position requires accurate material handling, weighing, documentation, and preparation of blends for extrusion staging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stage raw materials using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
  • Blend PTFE and Isopar according to specified instructions.
  • Pour PTFE blends through screens into designated jugs.
  • Accurately weigh prepared PTFE blends.
  • Enter blend information into WW3.
  • Tag prepared jugs according to established procedures.
  • Remove excess blend from the production area.
  • Move prepared jugs to the hot room for extrusion staging.
  • Transfer empty jugs for cleaning.
  • Wash jugs according to the established rotating schedule.
  • Change Isopar filters when necessary.
  • Follow production, quality, safety, and material-handling procedures.
