Commercial Electrician

Fairhope, AL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking Commercial Electricians of all experience levels for a 4–6 month contract assignment supporting light commercial electrical projects in Fairhope, AL. Candidates should have hands-on electrical experience and be comfortable working with MC cable, conduit, and elevated work platforms.

Essential Duties:
• Perform electrical installation work in light commercial environments.
• Install and run MC cable throughout commercial structures.
• Bend, install, and run 3/4-inch conduit.
• Assist with electrical rough-in and other commercial electrical installations as assigned.
• Use appropriate hand and power tools to complete electrical work safely and efficiently.
• Work from scissor lifts at heights of approximately 15–20 feet.
• Follow project specifications, instructions, and established electrical and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with electricians, helpers, supervisors, and other construction personnel to meet project schedules.

Requirements/Skills:
• Open to candidates with varying levels of electrical experience.
• Previous light commercial electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Approximately 2–5 years of commercial electrical experience preferred for experienced-level candidates.
• Experience running MC cable and 3/4-inch conduit preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work from scissor lifts at heights of approximately 15–20 feet.
• Ability to safely use common electrical hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and established jobsite safety requirements.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work a 40-hour workweek.
• This is a non-smoking jobsite. Traditional smoking is not permitted; e-cigarettes are allowed in accordance with site requirements.
• Assignment is expected to last approximately 4–6 months.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at elevated heights of approximately 15–20 feet while using a scissor lift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely handle electrical materials, tools, conduit, and cable.
• Ability to perform physical construction work for the duration of the scheduled shift.
