Maintenance Technician - START ASAP

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Houston. This is a senior-level maintenance position for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot industrial equipment, and help lead and support maintenance activities throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience and previous experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a precision machine shop or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and other industrial machinery
• Perform maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections
• Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, sensors, switches, electrical components, and other machine components
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Assist with installation, setup, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Track repairs, parts, maintenance schedules, and equipment conditions
• Work with production employees and management to identify equipment concerns
• Help improve equipment reliability and overall facility maintenance
• Maintain tools, maintenance areas, and replacement parts inventory
• Follow OSHA, lockout/tagout, PPE, and company safety procedures
• Lead maintenance activities when needed
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior maintenance technicians
• Communicate equipment issues, repairs, and recommendations to management
• Perform additional facility and equipment maintenance as needed

Requirements

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or precision machine shop environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery
• Experience working with overhead cranes
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial machinery and equipment independently
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good computer and documentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to train, mentor, and support less-experienced maintenance technicians
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong attention to workplace safety
• Must be able to work occasional Saturdays as needed
• Must wear steel-toe boots

Preferred Experience

• Valve manufacturing or valve maintenance experience
• CNC machine maintenance in a precision machining environment
• Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting
• Previous lead or senior maintenance technician experience

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Candidates must also be available for occasional Saturday work when required.
