Residential HVAC Technician
We are currently seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Technician to join the team of one of our great clients in the Cinnaminson/Cherry Hill, NJ area. This is a full-time, permanent position with a growing company that values skilled technicians and provides an opportunity for long-term career growth.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and air conditioning systems. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused technician who can diagnose HVAC problems, perform quality repairs, and represent the company professionally in customers' homes.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal HVAC tune-ups
- Troubleshoot heating and air conditioning equipment
- Identify electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related problems
- Replace and repair HVAC components and equipment
- Perform residential service calls and communicate repair recommendations to homeowners
- Explain system issues and repair options clearly to customers
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards
- Provide exceptional customer service on every call
Qualifications
- Previous residential HVAC service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems
- Experience with furnaces, boilers, central air conditioning, heat pumps, and related equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- EPA certification preferred
- NJ HVAC license or applicable certifications a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship
