Commerical Priting - Experienced Sheet Fed Press Operator

PRESS OPERATOR

KETMOY Printing, one of Butler County’s oldest and largest commercial printers is looking for an experienced 40” sheet-fed press operator to work 2nd shift Monday through Friday. Heidelberg experience preferred, but will train.

Responsibilities include:

• Work to ensure quality work while meeting project deadlines.
• Set up, make ready, operate and maintain offset printing press
• Fill ink and dampening solutions fountains of press
• Get color up to job specifications and maintain color accuracy
• Observe press operation to detect machine malfunctions and examines printed copy for ink density, position on paper and registration
• Make adjustments to the press, wash press and clean ink and ink rollers and ink fountains using ink solvent and cleaning mechanism on press
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep daily time and production reports
• Overtime and weekends, as business needs dictate
• Other duties as assigned by management
  

Candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 5 to 7 years’ experience in the printing industry with specific experience as a press operator. Additionally, strong organizational and communication skills are a must. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to take the next step in their career with a growing company.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly position with benefits including occasional overtime, company- sponsored Profit-Sharing Plan, medical, dental, and vision, as well as paid vacation and holidays.
