Sheet Metal Mig Welder

The Mig Welder is responsible for performing welding tasks using MIG techniques, welding thin gauge sheet metal, from exhaust hood duct, kitchen exhaust. Welding Black Iron and 304 stainless steel ensuring high-quality welds on various metals according to specifications. This role requires proficiency in weld preparation, equipment setup, and interpreting blueprints for precise execution on stainless steel and black iron materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for welding tasks
• Set up and maintain welding equipment
• Execute MIG welding on stainless steel and black iron
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Maintain quality and safety standards during welding operations

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in MIG welding or working with Kitchen duct/Hood exhaust work.
