Assembly Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Assembly Operator will be responsible for assembling components according to work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components using hand and power tools.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and production specifications.
• Operate basic production and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Measure components using tape measures, calipers, gauges, or other precision tools.
• Identify defects, damage, or assembly issues and report them to the appropriate team member.
• Perform rework or adjustments as needed to meet production and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and basic drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Preferred Skills

• Mechanical assembly experience
• Blueprint or schematic reading
• Experience with calipers, gauges, or other measuring tools
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Quality-control or inspection experience
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical components

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials.
• Ability to safely handle tools, equipment, and production components.
• Ability to lift and carry materials as required by the position.
