High School Diploma or equivalent.
1–5 years of experience in electric utility Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Protection & Controls or substation field work.
Experience working in utility substations (preferred over industrial, commercial, or construction-only electrical environments).
Basic knowledge of protective relays, substation commissioning, SCADA, control circuits, and DC systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience with Doble Protection Suite, Enoserv RTS, or similar relay testing software is a plus.
Willingness to travel throughout the FirstEnergy service area.
Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
