Pay: $155,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

Location: White Plains, NY — On-site in a professional office environment, offering sophisticated regional work without the daily Manhattan commute.
Note: Must have 3+ years of commercial litigation experience and active New York and New Jersey bar admission. Meaningful construction litigation, strong motion practice, deposition experience, and the ability to independently manage matters are highly important for success in this role.

Job Description
- Manage sophisticated construction litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Represent contractors, developers, subcontractors, design professionals, and sureties in complex disputes.
- Handle payment disputes, mechanic's lien foreclosures, bond claims, delay and disruption claims, defective construction matters, and contract enforcement cases.
- Draft, brief, and argue complex motions in state and federal courts.
- Take and defend depositions involving key witnesses, industry professionals, and opposing parties.
- Develop case strategy and independently manage assigned matters.
- Work directly with clients and construction industry decision-makers.
- Practice across New York and New Jersey, with opportunities for broader regional exposure.
- Participate in arbitration proceedings and other dispute resolution forums.
- Contribute to client relationships, business development, and the continued growth of the practice.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial litigation experience; 5+ years preferred.
- Active New York and New Jersey bar admissions required.
- Meaningful construction litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Strong motion practice and legal writing skills.
- Demonstrated deposition experience.
- Ability to independently manage litigation matters and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, communication, advocacy, and client-management skills.
- Connecticut bar admission is a plus.
