Job Title: Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
Location: The Fountains
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available
Available Shifts
Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Position Summary
The Fountains is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide exceptional care and support to our residents. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life of our residents by assisting with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental condition to nursing staff.
Assist with meal service and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Follow individualized care plans and facility policies.
Document services provided and resident observations accurately.
Qualifications
Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required.
Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home care preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
