Job Summary:
Overland Park Respiratory & Rehab Center is seeking motivated Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) to join our nursing team. The CNA plays a crucial role in providing direct resident care, supporting daily living needs, assisting licensed nursing staff, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and resident-centered environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for CNA's who want to be part of a growing facility with a strong clinical focus, including care for residents with trachs, ventilators, and other respiratory needs.
There are Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct resident care in accordance with resident care plans, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, and repositioning.
Take and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other resident information as directed.
Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to licensed nursing staff.
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, positioning, and use of appropriate equipment.
Support infection control, safety, fall prevention, and resident dignity throughout all care activities.
Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and properly stocked resident rooms and care areas.
Complete accurate, timely, and compliant documentation for care provided.
Communicate effectively with nurses, respiratory staff, therapy staff, residents, families, and other facility team members.
Support residents with trachs, ventilators, and higher-acuity needs within CNA scope of practice and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Promote a positive, accountable, resident-centered, and team-oriented culture.
Requirements:
Current Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas.
Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, rehabilitation, or sub-acute care setting preferred.
Experience working with trach, ventilator, or higher-acuity residents preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety.
Ability to complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff, therapy staff, respiratory staff, residents, and families.

Salary Range: $21-$24 hourly, based on experience
