Purpose:To promote and contribute to a culture of recovery in a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of a Recovery Plan
  • Provide individual and group coaching, counseling, mentoring, instruction, training, feedback and positive reinforcement for the participant in areas outlined in their Recovery Plan.
  • Educate participants on evidence-based practices which includes illness management and recovery, mental health, co-occurring disorders, supported employment and family psychoeducation.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence.
  • Provide trauma informed treatment as relevant to the needs of the participant.
  • Develop and link participants with community resources.
  • Participate in collaborative meeting with staff.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and on time as required by JFK and Community Behavioral Health.
  • Attend required meetings, trainings, supervision and CEU courses as determined by JFK, regulatory agencies and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Standards of Practice.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
  • Exhibit an understanding of the principals of recovery in clinical practice.
  • Have at least one year work experience in mental health direct care.

Schedule:Monday through Friday: 9 am to 5 pm

Location:Center City Philadelphia. JFK is a short walking distance from central transportation sites including Suburban Station and the Broad Street Line.
