Multi‑Axis CNC Machinist -- Lathe, Mill & Horizontal Boring Specialist

You arrive to a clean, climate-controlled floor and take ownership of a mix of lathe, mill, and horizontal boring bar work. On any given day, you’ll read complex blueprints, select tooling, set up jobs, program and troubleshoot controls, measure twice, and machine once—delivering accurate parts for a fast-moving job shop.

Openings & Schedule

• First Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm
• Second Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:00 am (includes a $5.00/hour shift premium)

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $20.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience

What you’ll do

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes (2–4 axis), CNC mills (5+ axis VMC), and horizontal boring bar equipment
• Interpret and apply blueprint specifications and perform material identification
• Use and read precision measuring and gaging devices; verify in-process dimensions
• Execute efficient CNC machine setup and changeover to meet schedule demands
• Troubleshoot issues, perform basic CNC machine repair, and optimize tooling
• Work independently on tasks and collaborate effectively with teammates

What you bring

• 2-year Machine Tool diploma (required)
• 2–5 years of job shop experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate
• Technical aptitude with strong blueprint reading and material ID skills
• Comfort with tape measure reading and precision gaging
