Base + Benefits: $100,000–$120,000 DOE with bonus and a comprehensive benefits package | Location: Richmond, VA | Schedule: Days with on‑call responsibility

Your mission
  • Champion safety practices and regulatory compliance; proactively spot risks and implement corrective measures.
  • Design and oversee preventive maintenance programs; perform regular audits to verify workmanship and asset health.
  • Lead hands‑on troubleshooting and guide best‑practice repairs across mechanical, electrical, and controls domains.
  • Collaborate with Operations to sustain high OEE and reduce downtime bottlenecks.
  • Recruit, mentor, and elevate a skilled technician team; provide daily coaching and knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain CMMS rigor—drive work order accuracy, timely closeout, and complete maintenance records.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, restocking cadence, and procurement activities.
  • Direct contractors, vendors, and service providers to meet safety, quality, and performance targets.
  • Partner with the Corporate Engineering Department to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver technical training that grows multi‑skill capability across the team.
  • Support additional duties essential to plant performance.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years in a maintenance leadership role within an industrial/manufacturing plant.
  • Computer savvy with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse personalities and cross‑functional groups.
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles.
  • Team‑first leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Physically able to complete the essential tasks of the job.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient reading of technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
