Account Payable Specialist - With Healthcare Experience

About the Role:
At Focus Health Network, LLC, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Payable Specialist - With Healthcare Experience to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payment to our healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile invoices, credits, and adjustments in accordance with company policies and procedures
Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts and accounts payable ledgers
Verify and document vendor information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Prepare and transmit payment batches to vendors on a timely basis
Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable accounts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies
Assist with accounts payable audits and provide support to external auditors as needed
Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues and ensure seamless financial operations
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a focus on healthcare finance
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems,
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, internal stakeholders, and external auditors
