Program Directors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to develop, maintain and deliver education services to students through:Creating and Maintaining core curriculum across the institutionCommunicating and monitoring delivery of core curriculumPreparing course plans and materialDelivering coursesMonitoring progress/attendanceAdvising studentsRecording grades and submitting reports EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:Minimum of a master's degreeA minimum of five years (or equivalent), full-time, post-licensure experience that includes a minimum of three years (or equivalent) of full-time clinical experience within any United States jurisdictiondidactic and/or clinical teaching experience.experience in administration, management, and leadership. Experiences derived from the clinic are acceptable.Professional development or education in all of the following: educational theory and methodology, instructional design, student evaluation, and outcome assessment. This includes a minimum of 60 contact hours of professional development or education comprising exclusively and comprehensively the four content areas of: education theory and methodology, instructional design, student evaluation and outcome assessment.Familiarity with CAPTE Standards and accreditation processes preferred.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Current, unrestricted State of Florida Physical Therapy Practitioner (PT or PTA) License
