Pallet Builder/Repair
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for constructing customized pallets according to client specifications while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of woodworking techniques and thrive in a hands-on work environment.
Pay:
Range between $20-$26/hr including weekly production bonus
Schedule:
Monday- Friday
1st shift 6am-2:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, and construct pallets tailored to client needs and specifications.
- Select appropriate materials via careful consideration of weight and durability
- Use a range of woodworking tools and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble pallet components precisely.
- Ensure all custom pallets meet safety and quality standards set by the company and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pallet builder, carpenter, or similar role in a manufacturing or woodworking environment.
- Proficiency in using power tools and machinery common to the carpentry trade, such as nail gun
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying production goals and client demands.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
