CNA Weekend Warrior Program
Wheaton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Located in Wheaton, Illinois, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Weekend Warrior Program. As a Weekend Warrior CNA, you will have the opportunity to work a flexible weekend schedule, starting Friday at 10:30 PM to Monday at 6:30 AM, earning a $5.00 shift differential.
Job Summary:
Our CNA Weekend Warrior Program is designed to provide exceptional care to our residents on weekends. As a CNA, you will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), document care, and maintain a safe working environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as assigned, including but not limited to hair care, shaving, nail care, dressing, undressing, etc.
Assist residents with bath and shower functions as assigned
Document all resident care with facility policies and procedures
Assist residents during meals to ensure they receive meal trays, proper diets, and special assistance as needed
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety programs at all times
Perform other duties assigned by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing
Requirements:
CNA Certification
Ability to work a flexible weekend schedule (Friday 10:30 PM to Monday 6:30 AM)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Familiarity with facility policies and procedures
