Pearl Dental Implant Center is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Clinical Liaison to support our expanding implant, surgical, and restorative services. This is a leadership-level clinical position ideal for a highly skilled assistant who enjoys both hands-on patient care and helping drive clinical excellence across the team.

The Clinical Liaison serves as a key resource for providers, assistants, and clinical staff by ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining high clinical standards, assisting with advanced procedures, and helping train and develop team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oral Surgery & Implant Dentistry

  • Assist with extractions, implant placement, and All-on-X procedures

  • Surgical setup and breakdown

  • Maintain sterile fields and surgical protocols

  • Monitor patient vitals and oxygen levels

  • Assist with sedation procedures

  • IV setup and monitoring

  • Maintain emergency preparedness protocols

  • Manage sedation documentation and drug logs

  • Prepare and process PRP/PRF

Digital Dentistry & Laboratory Coordination

  • Manage communication with dental laboratories for implant and All-on-X cases

  • Complete digital scans and treatment workflow documentation

  • Operate digital technology, including scanning, printing, and milling systems

  • Print and mill prosthetic restorations

  • Assist with digital treatment planning workflows

Clinical Leadership

  • Support clinical training and onboarding of assistants

  • Conduct competency check-offs and skills development

  • Assist in maintaining clinical standards and efficiencies

  • Help ensure operatory readiness and workflow optimization

  • Serve as a clinical resource for team members

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 2–4+ years of dental assisting experience

  • EFDA Certification

  • ACLS Certification

  • Strong oral surgery and implant assisting experience

  • Experience assisting with sedation procedures

  • Experience in monitoring vitals and oxygen during procedures

  • Ability to manage fast-paced, multi-provider schedules

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred

  • All-on-X experience

  • PRP/PRF experience

  • Experience with digital scanning systems

  • Experience with in-office printing and milling technology

  • Experience training or mentoring assistants
