The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA works collaboratively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to support rehabilitation goals and promote recovery.
- Implement treatment programs established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional performance.
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
- Accurately document treatment sessions and patient responses.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety precautions, and home programs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current North Carolina PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
