Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help to ensure efficient, quality patient care.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
- X-ray certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental x-rays.
- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Schedule patient appointments and follow up on treatment plans.
- Perform office tasks as needed to support the dental office operations.
