Final Detail and Micro-Polish Quality Technician The mission

Deliver components that are clean, burr-free, and finished to print—with proof of quality in every inspection step. You’ll be the last line of defense before parts move to secondary operations or to our customers.

How you’ll contribute
  1. Interpret drawings/prints and follow ISO QMS procedures to set up the right finishing path.
  2. Wash and clean parts per specified equipment callouts to prep for finishing.
  3. Deburr and finish using scraping, grinding, filing, sanding, wire brushing, buffing wheels, and cloths.
  4. Polish and refine edges and surfaces on aluminum, stainless steel, copper, titanium, and plastics.
  5. Verify finishes visually and with magnification/microscopes; document results and maintain lot traceability.
  6. Communicate with area supervision and shop-floor planning to sequence work for on-time delivery.
  7. Maintain a safe, orderly, and 5S-compliant work area; support packaging, 5S projects, and extra inspection efforts as needed.

  • Experience reading prints/blueprints and identifying burrs and acceptable finishes.
  • Comfortable with both hand and powered deburring/polishing tools; microscope proficiency.
Experience and capabilities
  • High school or equivalent plus at least 2 years finishing precision mechanical components.
  • Can understand written and oral instructions and draft simple correspondence.
  • Able to carry out detailed, straightforward instructions and solve problems with a few concrete variables.
Technical proficiencies
  • Quality inspection and quality control
  • Microscope and magnification techniques
  • Deburring methodologies and surface finishing practices
  • Blueprint reading
