FNA is a dynamic organization with unprecedented growth due largely to its ability to attract and retain highly talented associates.We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician I who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting.We have positions open on 3 shifts, with the following schedules:1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 9:00amPrimary Purpose:The Maintenance Technician I will perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs.Duties / Responsibilities:Work on production equipment that includes extruders and braiders.Regularly inspect and evaluate equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.Follow recommended maintenance schedule for cleaning and lubricating equipment.Maintain records on equipment status and maintenance.Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and assets per a set schedule.Follow safety rules and always wear PPE.Perform other maintenance related work as assigned and required.Required Skills / Abilities:Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.Ability to read / interpret technical documents.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Basic welding skills are a plus.Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.Willingness to work overtime when needed.Education and Experience:1-3 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Any training or certifications are a plus.
