About the Role
Join a growing manufacturing organization as a Maintenance Technician supporting production equipment and facility operations. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical skills who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.
This is a fully onsite role where you'll work closely with production and maintenance teams to repair equipment, complete work orders, support facility maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Install, remove, and repair mechanical and electrical components throughout the facility
- Perform facility maintenance and structural repairs as needed
- Diagnose equipment issues using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and precision testing equipment
- Complete and close maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate equipment histories, preventative maintenance schedules, and downtime records
- Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools to perform maintenance and repairs
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, fall prevention, lift equipment safety, and confined space requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or industrial trades training preferred
- 3+ years of industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand, power, and pneumatic tools
- Experience with lift equipment and analytical test equipment
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
- Basic computer skills with exposure to CNC and PLC systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
- Experience working with CNC machinery and PLC-controlled equipment
- Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems
- Experience reading technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
- Industrial electrical or mechanical trade certification
