Location: Racine, WI

Compensation: Up to $30/hr (based on experience) | Shifts: 1st & 2nd available

A day in the life

You start your shift by reviewing the day’s work instructions and blueprints. With your eye for detail, you set up your station, confirm tool offsets, and verify the correct inserts are in place. As parts run on CNC mills and lathes, you monitor quality, make precise adjustments, and document results using precision measuring tools. Throughout the day, you keep your area tidy and your workflow efficient—meeting production targets without sacrificing accuracy. When a tool wears, you replace it; when a tolerance drifts, you correct it. Every part you send downstream reflects your pride in workmanship.

What you’ll do

• Run CNC mills and lathes in a production setting
• Perform tool changes, adjust offsets, and replace inserts
• Read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment
• Meet established quality and throughput goals
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized

What you bring

• Prior experience as a CNC operator or in CNC machining
• Comfort with tool changes and offsets (preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and use gauges, micrometers, and related tools
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
