Job Description
Skills • Ability to perform highly skilled duties in developing and building dies, jigs, and fixtures • Proficient in layout and bench and machine operations for constructing, altering, and repairing tools • Experience in Tool and Die Maintenance and Repair • Strong oversight capabilities for tool and die operations • Excellent organizational skills for assigning jobs and ordering supplies • Quality assurance skills to ensure specifications are met Responsibilities • Develop and build dies, jigs, and fixtures • Layout and perform bench and machine operations • Maintain and repair tools efficiently • Oversee daily tool and die operations • Assign jobs to appropriate personnel • Verify that quality and print specifications are met • Order supplies as needed • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in Tool & Die making • Strong background in metal stamping processes • Proven ability to lead and mentor within a team environment Education Requirements • Two-year trade school program or equivalent Education Requirements Credential Category • Trade School Diploma Experience Requirements • Minimum of 5 years in Tool & Die making or related fields
