We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
About the Role:
As a CNA at Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher, you will be responsible for:
Providing direct care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to the nursing staff
Assisting with medication administration and treatments as directed
Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Participating in care conferences and contributing to the development of individualized care plans
Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is provided
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors
Assist with resident transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Monitor and report changes in resident condition or behavior to the nursing staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and share best practices with colleagues
Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care and services
Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or designee
Requirements:
Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents according to facility policies and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
