Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Restoration Rebuild Technician to assist with repairing and rebuilding homes damaged by floods or water loss. This role focuses primarily on reconstruction after mitigation, with some light demolition as needed to prepare affected areas for rebuild.
Responsibilities
- Perform rebuild and repair work following flood or water damage
- Install and repair drywall, baseboards, trim, flooring, and cabinetry
- Assist with framing repairs and minor carpentry
- Complete light demolition to remove remaining damaged materials
- Prepare surfaces for painting, finishing, and final cleanup
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly
- Follow work orders, safety guidelines, and jobsite procedures
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
Requirements
- Basic carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting 50+ lbs
- Comfortable working in residential environments
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
- Restoration or rebuild experience is a plus but not required
Work Environment
- Residential job sites
- Indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks
- Exposure to construction dust and materials
