Precision CNC Mill/Lathe Technicians & Cell Operators

Position Overview

TekPro is hiring on behalf of two reputable precision and aerospace manufacturers in Elk Grove Village, IL. We are seeking both CNC Machinists and CNC Operators to support production of high-accuracy components in clean, modern facilities.

Compensation & Schedule

• Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
• Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift openings
• Overtime: Consistent 10–15 hours per week available
• CNC Machinists: $26.00–$37.00/hr (DOE)
• CNC Operators: $22.00–$30.00/hr (DOE)

Core ResponsibilitiesCNC Machinists

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or related).
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Perform tooling and offset adjustments to meet specifications.
• Inspect and validate part quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members; roles open to experienced machinists and strong operators.

CNC Operators

• Load/unload CNC equipment and maintain steady production flow.
• Monitor machine operations and part cycles.
• Conduct basic quality checks.
• Assist with tooling changes and minor adjustments.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining or operating experience preferred.
• Setup experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or other machining equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance; willing to work overtime as needed.
