Mitigation Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Water Technician / Laborer to join our team. This position plays a vital role in assisting with water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and other restoration services. You’ll be working directly in the field, helping property owners recover from water-related damage with professionalism, efficiency, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services
• Set up, monitor, and maintain equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA vacuums
• Perform demolition as needed (drywall removal, flooring removal, etc.)
• Maintain clean and organized job sites, tools, and equipment
• Document moisture readings, work performed, and site conditions
• Follow safety procedures and industry best practices
• Communicate effectively with crew leads, project managers, and customers
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and tools
• Be on call for emergency services, including evenings or weekends as scheduled

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Comfort working in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, or basements
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in restoration, construction, or a labor-intensive field
• IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD) are a plus, but not required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
