Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive | Team Lead | Independent Retail Agency
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 plus comprehensive health benefits
Location: West Richmond, VA

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic insurance team as a Commercial Lines Account Executive or Client Relationship Manager. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary contact for Producer-assigned accounts, managing a mid-market book of business and leading a dedicated service team to drive client satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Services: Manage client relationships and services independently with minimal oversight.
  • Team Leadership: Direct a service team, ensuring high-quality management of a mid-market book of business.
  • Client Engagement: Actively participate in client interviews and respond to RFPs to ensure strong engagement.
  • Renewal Management: Analyze and present renewal options, advocate for renewal business, and promote additional coverage lines.
  • Promotion: Utilize tailored Producer Service Proposals to promote agency services.
  • Expert Analysis: Offer expert analysis and recommendations to enhance clients’ coverage plans.
  • Carrier Selection: Strategically select carriers, negotiate terms, and manage premium setups.
  • Client Support: Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to benefits and claims.
  • Contract Management: Review and verify accuracy in client coverage contracts and amendments.
  • Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party vendors.
  • Team Oversight: Provide leadership and support to ensure team collaboration and high performance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in the insurance industry.
  • Certifications: Professional designations such as CIC, CISR, CSRM, AAI preferred.
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented with a strong capacity for leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-related software (AMS360, EPIC).
