CNC Machine Operator

James and James is looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Heber Springs, Arkansas. This role is responsible for operating CNC woodworking machinery to cut, drill, and shape components used in high-quality custom furniture.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC machines
• Program and adjust CNC machines for drilling, cutting, milling, and shaping wood components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
• Adjust machine settings to improve production efficiency while maintaining quality
• Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance
• Document production activity and update records as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking For:

• Experience operating CNC machinery in a woodworking or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming or CAD/CAM systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–2 years CNC machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to follow safety procedures and quality standards
