Working under moderate supervision, you'll apply your expertise in CNC machining, machining methods, tooling concepts, and manufacturing processes to support critical projects across the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Utilize personal knowledge of tooling to properly and efficiently machine company product.Ability to visualize setups and transfer that knowledge onto paper as instructions for the operators to set-up the machine accurately.Operate machineryOptimize tooling packages and tool selectionWork on cycle time reduction/set up time reductionAd-Hoc Problem SolvingTooling, fixture, machine ad-hoc problem solvingSet up machine Read and edit G and M code as neededRequired Qualifications:Min high school diploma or equivalentCertificate Program with a minimum of 6 years' CNC Programming experienceAbility to read and edit machine programming languageAbility to read and interpret blueprintsStrong understanding of GD&TAble to set up and run a machineProblem solving skillsSigma/Lean a plusExperience with HAAS MachinesAbility to operate manual machinery (Bridgeport, Lathe)Ability to implement manufacturing processesAbility to perform in process quality inspection on partsUS Citizenship required Dayton T.
