Certified Nursing Assistant
Join our team at Oasis at the Keys Nursing and Rehab, a leading Nursing Home in Tavernier, Florida, as a Certified Nursing Assistant. We are committed caring for the elderly and strive to provide exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Oasis at the Keys Nursing and Rehab, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being. In this Full-Time position, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care, addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the registered nurse or other healthcare professionals
• Assist with meals, snacks, and hydration, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration
• Support residents with their personal care needs, including incontinence care and mobility assistance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to goal-setting and problem-solving discussions
• Promote a positive work environment by maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful atmosphere
Requirements:
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights
