Snelling is searching for a Certified Welder for a well-established company in the Helena, AL area. The pay rate for this position is $20.00-22.00/hr, and it is a 1st shift position, Monday-Thursday-10/hr days. Apply today with Confidence!!
Certified Welder Job Duties:
- Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
- Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
- Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
- Accurately measure within specified tolerance.
- Operate overhead crane as needed
Certified Welder Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Welding ( MIG, TIG, stick)
- Need to be able to read and understand blueprints/drawings – will be tested in interview
- Must have reliable transportation- Attendance is key to this company
- Must be able to pass a simple weld test
