We are seeking a reliable and skilled 4 AM Mobile Phlebotomist (Contract/Part-Time) to join our team for early morning specimen collection. As a mobile phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting blood specimens from patients at various locations. This contract/part-time role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities:

• Patient Verification: Ensure accuracy by verifying test requisitions against nursing station logs and addressing discrepancies with facility personnel.

• Safe Transportation: Maintain personal safety and proper specimen handling during transport; track mileage as per management guidelines.

• Specimen Collection: Perform venipunctures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

• Specimen Integrity: Follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures to maintain specimen quality.

• Tracking & Documentation: Accurately document collection details, including initials, date, and time of collection.

• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to legal and industry standards to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.

• Data Entry: Utilize laboratory information systems to input sample acquisition details.
