Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Indiana
Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
As a CNA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
Duties Include:Provide high-quality resident care in accordance with individualized care plans
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Perform resident rounds and provide timely assistance throughout the shift
Ensure resident comfort, dignity, safety, and well-being
Verify resident identification before providing care or meal assistance
Make beds and maintain clean, organized resident rooms
Clean and refill water pitchers and ensure they remain within residents' reach
Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning residents
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare team members
Follow all facility policies, infection control procedures, safety standards, and state and federal regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
