Responsibilities Overview:
As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you'll provide hands-on care to residents while safely administering medications and assisting with daily care needs.
What You’ll Do:
Safely prepare and administer medications according to physician orders, facility standards, and applicable regulations.
Accurately document medication administration and promptly report changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse.
Perform blood glucose testing and other assigned clinical tasks.
Reorder medications as needed and help ensure resident receive medications as scheduled.
Conduct periodic narcotic counts and maintain medication security.

Maintain accurate narcotic, psychotropic, and medication records.

Monday to Friday
Rotating weekends
12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)
Competitive Pay:
$19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Flexible Hours:
Part-Time: 12 – 32 hours per week

Position Requirements:
-
A valid unencumbered Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Certification is required.
Certification Requirement: This position requires a current Certified Medication Technician (CMT). L1MA certification is not accepted for this role.
At least 1 year of Certified Medication Technician (CMT) experience in an Assisted Living setting is preferred.
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful connections with staff, residents, and families.
Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
Reliable transportation is required.
