Job Summary:

The Fulfillment Line Leader reports to the Fulfillment Supervisor. The Fulfillment Line leader is responsible for pulling orders, and assisting in the set-up and preparation of orders. The Fulfillment Line Leader will coordinate the flow of employees in the pull line, including assigning work-hours to specific orders. They are responsible to alert all potential disciplinary actions to Management. The Line leader may also be assigned to special projects.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Line Leader is also a Puller and therefore works on the floor at the front or end of the line
  • Checks the accuracy and quality of products
  • Able to prioritize tasks and coordinates flow of work from pull line
  • Assigns work-hours to specific orders in order to meet due dates as well as assign tasks as necessary
  • Pre-pulls items to expedite the next day’s pull line
  • Is able to keep track of pull line progress and provide status updates to managers
  • Is able to learn the product, its shipping specifications and the preferences of each client
  • Ensures timecards are accurate, complete, and collected on-time
  • Is a great communicator and proactively informs the manager of any related issues and updates
  • Assists in all areas of Fulfillment such as preparation, fabrication and shipping
  • Leads by example by working hard and having positive interactions with other departments
  • All other duties as requested, including supporting other departments


Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in printing, fulfillment, or related field is preferred
  • Familiar with shipping via UPS and FedEx
  • Comfortable working on computers

Line leads available on 1st and 2nd shift, with shift differential for 2nd shift.
