Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to perform general maintenance of both facility and production equipment. This is a hands-on role supporting daily operations by keeping machines running smoothly and the facility in top condition. Ideal for someone mechanically inclined and looking to grow with a stable company.
This is the ideal position for someone with mechanical aptitude with maintenance experience in a low-stress environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the general maintenance on machines and equipment
- Assist with building maintenance including emptying bins, moving material, etc
- Support preventive maintenance and help diagnose basic mechanical issues
- Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas
- Record maintenance tasks and follow safety procedures
- Work with Maintenance Technicians and Production staff to reduce downtime
Qualifications:
- Experience with general maintenance or mechanical work preferred
- Able to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Forklift experience a huge plus
