Entry-Level CNC/Processing Equipment Operator (Metals)

Role: Machine Operator IPay & Perks- $17.00 – $18.50 per hour, Paid Weekly
- Shift differentials: +$1.00 (2nd), +$1.50 (3rd)
- 1st: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd: Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd: Mon–Fri, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Safety Commitment — Make safe choices, every job, every time.
- Machine Operation — Set up and run one or more processing machines.
- Quality and Accuracy — Verify parts meet spec using measurement tools.
- General Duties — Keep materials, equipment, and workspace organized and running.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and basic critical thinking.
- Forklift and crane operation; able to maintain required equipment certifications.
- Read/interpret simple blueprints.
- Comfort using hand tools: hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, bander.
- Use tape measure, box/slide dial calipers, and micrometers accurately.
- Convert fractions to decimals and metric to English units.
- Consistent, high-quality workmanship.
- Experience or aptitude to set up/operate one or more processing machines.
- Ability to speak, write, and understand conversational English.
- Standing/walking most of the shift; 2–5 miles of walking per day.
- Frequent bending, sitting, standing, twisting, and stooping for extended periods.
- Lift/carry 25–50 lbs from floor to waist; front-carry 25–50 lbs repeatedly per shift.
- Reach overhead; squat, kneel, and climb short ladders/steps.
- Fine motor skills for precise hand and finger movements.
- Read labels; follow safety and SOPs; communicate effectively in an industrial environment.
- 20/30 vision with corrective lenses.
