Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive | Team Lead
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 plus comprehensive health benefits
Location: Richmond VA

Job Summary
As a Commercial Lines Account Executive or Client Relationship Manager on our dynamic insurance team, you'll serve as the primary agent for Producer-assigned accounts. This role encompasses both servicing and solicitation activities. You will manage a mid-market book of business and lead a dedicated service team, ensuring high-quality client management and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Services: Independently manage client relationships and services with minimal oversight from Producers.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and oversee a service team to effectively manage a mid-market book of business.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in interviews and respond to RFPs, ensuring strong client engagement.
  • Renewal Management: Analyze and present renewal options, sell renewal business and additional coverage lines.
  • Promotion: Promote various agency services through tailored Producer Service Proposals.
  • Expert Analysis: Provide expert analysis and recommendations on clients' existing coverage plans.
  • Carrier Selection: Select carriers for solicitation, negotiating beneficial terms and premiums.
  • Client Support: Address and resolve client inquiries, including benefits and claims issues.
  • Contract Management: Review and ensure the accuracy of client coverage contracts and amendments.
  • Vendor Negotiation: Manage and negotiate contracts with third-party vendors on behalf of clients.
  • Team Oversight: Oversee and support a dedicated service team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the insurance field.
  • Certifications: Designations such as CIC, CISR, CSRM, AAI are a plus.
