Summary:. While performing the duties of this job, the Production Department employee must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms, use of fingers, handle or feel. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is important for normal conversations, to receive ordinary or vital information and to prepare and inspect documents. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate-loud.
Responsibilities will include:
- Familiar with the Quality Policy and Objective
- Completion of Production Paperwork
- Obtain the required forms, specifications and instructions from QC
- Performance of -process inspections as required
- Following Packaging / Labeling instructions per shop paper or other instructions
- Report press/ die problems to supervisor, reporting of actual or potential product quality issues to QC or Supervisor
- Stopping production when known or suspected nonconforming conditions exist
- Housekeeping in all areas
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications:
- Preferred High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills, bilingual a plus.
- Must be able to work as a team member and not an individual
- Dependable and on time.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage will be based on experience and management approval
- Will report directly to production supervisor
- Must be willing to work overtime when required.
