Compensation & Highlights
Compensation:
- $30.00 - $60.00 per hour, based on experience and licensing.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Boiler Service Technician:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and start-ups on commercial boiler systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
- Service boiler room equipment and combustion systems.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and support emergency service calls.
- Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Complete service documentation and communicate findings clearly with clients.
Qualifications of the Commercial Boiler Service Technician:
- 3+ years of experience servicing commercial or industrial boiler systems.
- Experience with steam and hot water systems.
- Knowledge of combustion controls and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Rhode Island Natural Gas, Propane Gas, Oil Burner, and/or Pipefitter licenses preferred.
- Valid Rhode Island driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders as needed.
